Resonator assemblies have a tendency to rotate clockwise over time, causing the intonation and scale length to become inaccurate. This template, when aligned with the bridge and the 12th fret, will assure proper location. Lay the template under the strings making sure that the bridge is in full contact with the end marked "bridge". Gently move the resonator assembly so that the 12th fret line matches the 12th fret on your fretboard. If you find the resonator and bridge difficult to move, you may want to loosen the strings slightly. This template will work for both 24.5" and 25" scale lengths and is available for squareneck and roundneck guitars.
